A boxing match between former UFC champion Vitor Belfort and boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya has been scheduled for September 11 in Los Angeles, and it will now be fought as a professional bout.
Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort, 44, of Brazil and Oscar “The Golden Boy” de la Hoya, 48, of Los Angeles, California, USA, will headline a Triller Fight Club event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 11, 2021. This is the Brazilian MMA fighter’s second professional boxing match, and the Mexican-American boxing legend’s 46th.
De la Hoya vs Belfort is presented by Triller Fight Club and can be broadcast globally on FITE, iNDemand and thru all leading Cable, Satellite and Telco Providers within the U.S. and Canada. The boxing match will test the fighting skills and can of those two greats in combat sports history, competing within the light heavyweight division during a scheduled eight-round bout.
